ECCA Wire or Enameled Copper Clad Aluminum Wire is newly developed magnet wire that uses copper clad aluminum as its core, which combines the excellent conductivity of copper and lightweight of aluminum. ECCA wire is characterized by a thin layer of insulation that protects wire from short-circuiting, and has better anti-oxidation, corrosion resistance and solderability compared to plain aluminum wire. ECCA wire is primarily applied in manufacturing of transformers, winding coils, inductors, motors, ballasts, relays, etc.

Enameled Copper Clad Aluminum Wire adopts advanced cladding welding manufacturing technology,the high quality copper strip concentrically coated on the outer surface of the conductor,such as aluminum rod or wire and copper layer and the core formed between firm metallurgical bonding between the atoms. Make the combination of two different metal materials as an integral whole, can be like processing a single wire drawing and annealing processing, copper and aluminum in the process of drawing with variable diameter ratio,volume ratio of copper layer remained relatively constant.
